Support & FAQ

I lost access to my account — how do I recover it?
SkillDuel uses passwordless sign-in: enter your email on the home page and we send a fresh 6-digit code — that IS the recovery flow, there is no password to lose. If you linked a wallet to your account, you can also sign in by connecting that wallet and signing the login message: it logs you straight into the same account.
I lost access to my email AND never linked a wallet.
Without your email or a linked wallet we cannot verify that the account is yours — that protection is what keeps everyone else out of your account too. Contact support with as much detail as possible (display name, approximate sign-up date, transaction details) and we will review it manually.
How do I link a wallet, and why would I?
Open your profile and hit "Link a wallet", then sign the message in your wallet — no transaction, no gas. A linked wallet unlocks staked USDC duels, receives your payouts, and doubles as a backup sign-in method.
Can I change the email on my account?
Not yet — email changes are on the roadmap. If this blocks you, contact support.
A payout has not arrived. What now?
Free-duel coin winnings appear instantly in your balance. USDC payouts are paid on-chain by the escrow contract right after the match is settled — check the transaction in your history export (profile → Export history). Still missing after 15 minutes? Send us the match ID from that export.
How do I know matches are fair?
All game logic runs on our servers — your opponent's client never decides anything. Matches are monitored for abnormal play patterns, AFK behaviour is auto-forfeited, and staked results are settled by a smart contract that neither player controls.
How do I turn email notifications on or off?
Profile → the "Email notifications" toggle. We only email you about things that matter (challenge results, prize spins, security events) — never per match.
How do I delete my account?
Contact support from your account email and we will remove your personal data. On-chain transactions are public by nature and cannot be erased.
